Enterprise modernization issues discussed at President's big press conference.

The primary activity of the Turov Dairy Combine is a production of Italian cheeses, such as: mozzarella, ricotta, mascarpone.

The total volume of investments in the Turov Dairy Combine has already exceeded 50 million Euros. It is a private and state and very effective partnership. A part of funds was devoted within implementation of the state Pripyat Polesye development program. The expected annual revenue is more than 100 million Euros. They intend to recover value and to pave the way for business expansion within 7-8 years.

In total 220 people will work at the Turov Dairy Combine. 70% of employees are local citizens. The launch of the first line is planned for March. The chairman of the Zhitkovichi District Executive Committee calls the enterprise a shining example of how the state program furthers region development.

In Vitebsk a modern enterprise is being created on the basis of an operating but outdated one in a technical sense. The scale modernization of production capacities will be fully complete within three years.
