Anniston police officer killed in duty to be honored in Rose Parade

The memory of fallen Anniston police officer Justin Sollohub will be celebrated in the new year in California.

After the 27-year-old was killed in the line of duty Aug. 24, 2011, his organs were donated, saving the lives of four people. To honor his sacrifices, a floragraph of his image will be part of the 2013 Donate Life float in the annual Rose Parade.

Today, with members of Delta Chi fraternity from Jacksonville State University and loved ones beside her, his mother put the finishing touches on his floragraph that will be in the parade.

Paris Jackson will have more tonight and 5 and 6 p.m.
